UBISOFT® EXPANDS DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION OF ITS VIDEO GAMES TITLES WITH NEXWAY

City, COUNTRY – July 1st, 2009 – Ubisoft® announced today that it will extend the distribution of its games catalog in partnership with Nexway, the European leader of digital distribution of software and video games. Ubisoft will reinforce its online distribution strategy, making both back catalog and upcoming titles available on Nexway’s network of online games portals and digital channels such as 01net, jeuxvideo.com, Dell Download Store, Yahoo! Japan and Boonty.com.

With the growing rate of video game downloads worldwide, Ubisoft will work with Nexway to distribute successful titles such as:

Assassin’s Creed®
ANNO 1404™
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell®
Prince of Persia®
Far Cry®
Heroes of Might & Magic® (available from september 1st, 2009)

"With the public’s enthusiasm for online games, we are seeing both hardcore and casual gamers, as well as people new to gaming choosing to obtain their video games online. It makes sense for us then to expand our download catalog with the expertise and partnership of Nexway as well as their powerful distribution network. «said Stéphanie Perotti, Chief Operating Officer EMEA at Ubisoft.

This partnership enriches Nexway’s portfolio of titles, which already counts over a thousand video games, thanks to the recent acquisition of Boonty, the leader in casual games distribution, which helped consolidate their position as the uncontested leader in the European digital distribution market.

"We are excited about this new partnership with Ubisoft. Indeed, downloading offers considerable benefits for both the editor and the gamer since internet allows gamers to purchase best-selling games that are unavailable in stores due to their success. The expertise that we bring to Ubisoft ensures an optimal distribution of their catalog to e-merchant websites and major Internet portals,” said Francis Ingrand, VP Business Development, Head of Games, Nexway.
