Last week the world watched as the first vaccines went into the arms of those most in need. This gives us all much-anticipated hope that the year ahead will soon bring an end to many of the very real health and economic challenges societies around the world have been experiencing.

It is also proof of the impressive feats that human beings can achieve when challenged. I salute the scientists and researchers who have been able to create new vaccines in record time.

The year 2020 will go down in history as a time of unprecedented events, some dramatic and some more day to day. We started wearing masks. We stopped travelling. We taught our parents how to Zoom. And shopping online became commonplace.

I am so proud of our employees, who have adjusted quickly to the new reality of remote work. The passion of our people is the reason our company is a great place to work, even when office buildings are mostly closed.
